Firewall and GPS Pucks

I decided to go for a matte finish on the firewall since the polishing was a failure. I accomplished this with 60 grit sandpaper and an orbital sander. I think it's a much better look. I haven't done the inside yet but will tomorrow and then coat it with John's 360 Ceramic sealer.

Next up was finishing with the GPS Pucks. I was waiting on an order from Aircraft Spruce, Adele Clamps. Before I final install the pucks, I will have to mark the positions of the Adele clamps and remove the powder coating underneath the clamps for electrical grounding purposes. I removed the rubber insulators from the clamps for this purpose. I will have the plates powder coated gray to match the frames.
