Spent the past few days fabricating new seat side covers. The original ones I made many moons ago were from .020" aluminum, they worked as covers but were very flimsy... read light weight. Since I made those, I've added a USB port and a cradle for my Bose A20 headset. These additions required a much firmer structure so, I needed to make new ones.
So after a few iterations I finally had the new covers, made from .040" aluminum with an added 90 degree bend in the side for stiffness. The They came out pretty nice and I shot them with bed liner to match the rest of the interior.
